AEC won the Champions Trophy

The Department of Computer Applications started its journey with an initial sanctioned intake of 60 students and only one laboratory named Homi Bhaba. Since then it is progressing by leaps and bounds,three different laboratories are in offing very soon.
   


Computer Science and Engineering has been designed to prepare students for a successful career in the Software industry and the Information Technology sector by teaching in depth about software engineering that combines both the theory and practical of Computer Science and Engineering. Students also acquire communication skills and become proficient in engineering design, particularly as it applies to Software development and Software systems and students work at the cutting edge of their fundamental and exciting field.

   


The Department of Electrical Engineering was established in 1998 with the very inception of the college. It has sufficient number of well qualified faculty and staff members. The Department has nine laboratories equipped with modern equipment and instruments. The department has recently acquired equipment worth Rs 1.41 crores under World Bank assisted TEQIP. The placement record of the department is increasing rapidly. It has good interactions with near by industries and reputed institutes. Most of the faculties are engaged in higher studies and research activities. Recent version of software like MATLAB, PSCAD, MI POWER, ETAP, PSIM etc are available in the department. Expert lectures, workshops, seminar, short term courses and employability enhancement program such as soft skill classes are regularly arranged in the department. Students are encouraged to participate in creative activities like attending national and international conferences.
