Ad-hoc-Executive Committee::

ASANSOL ENGINEERING COLLEGE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION (AECAA)


GENERAL BODY:

The general body of AECAA consists of-

  • All the Pass out Students of the college.
  • All the Faculty Members (including the Lab Assistant) of the college.
The general body will hold an Annual Meeting every year to discuss various matters including the annual budget.

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE:

The executive committee will consist of the following

  • Patron : Principal (ex- officio)
  • President :
  • Vice President :
  • Secretary :
  • Treasure :
+ 10 Elected and / or nominated members among the existing faculties & Pass out students holding important Position in industry.
The executive committee will hold meeting in every three months but not less than twice in a year. The members except the Patron of the Executive Committee will be elected or nominated every year in the General Body meeting.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES:

The AECAA is formed with the following objectives in mind:

  • To have interaction of the faculty members with the pass out members.
  • To have interaction of the current 3rd and final year student of the colleges with their seniors holding important position in various business establishments.
  • To arrange invited lectures by the dignitaries of business establishment in and around Asansol.
  • The alumni on important posts at distant places in India or abroad can be invited to share their advises to the current student to improve their outlooks.
  • To raise funds to construct a Alumni Guest House in the campus and to open New Areas of Study and Research. The guest house will facilitate the stay of the visiting alumni to the college.
  • To hold Seminar and Conference for the benefit of the current students.
  • To publish yearly News – bulletin and proceedings of the seminars and conferences organized by the Association.
  • To enhance the employment opportunity of the current students with the interaction with the old students.

REGISTRATION AS ANNUAL MEMBERS OF AECAA:

A person who is eligible for becoming a member has to pay an annual Registration fee of Rs.100 and renewal fee of Rs.100 in every subsequent year.

LIFE – MEMBER:

An eligible person can become a life member for the students employed in India after paying a gross amount of Rs.1000 at a time to the secretary AECAA. For students employed in abroad or staying at abroad for further studies, etc. have to pay a gross amount of $100 (US).

HANDLING THE CASH OF THE AECAA:

The cash received by the members in the form of membership fee or in the form of some contribution shall be deposited in a Saving Bank account of Union Bank of India with cheque facility. The withdrawal of any amount from the account will be handled jointly by the Secretary and the Treasurer.
